Boyd Raceway

2006 IMCA RULES

All 2006 IMCA rules will apply at Boyd Raceway. There can be no deviation from these rules. All drivers competing at Boyd Raceway in an IMCA class are expected to be in good standing with IMCA and carrying a current IMCA competitor’s license. If you do not have a current license you may purchase one with us. Drivers may compete using a receipt from a license purchase at another IMCA racetrack if they have not yet received their license. We will not however be able to “look up” your license with another racetrack. If you lose your receipt you will have to purchase another license. You will then be refunded that money from IMCA.

CLAIM PROCEDURES

Winner will report to the winners circle. Second, third, and fourth place cars will report immediately to the infield area in turn 4 where an IMCA Official will be waiting for you. Anyone wishing to claim must stop on the first lap after the checkered flag in a single file line on the back straight between turn two and three. Anyone stopping anywhere else or going past turn three tire will not be allowed to claim. Drivers making claims must not have conversations or use hand gestures of any kind with other drivers or crew members.

PROTESTS

Any driver wishing to protest the finish of an IMCA race or the ruling of an IMCA Official must do so in accordance with those guidelines laid out in the 2006 IMCA rulebook.

WEIGHT RULE

Boyd Raceway will be honoring all IMCA weight rules. All cars competing in a class with a weight restriction will be subject to being weighed after any event. Boyd Raceway will weigh the top 4 every night and the rest of the field as they feel necessary. All cars will be expected to meet the minimum weight requirements on our scales.

No equipment will be considered to be legal because it has passed an inspection unobserved.
